I can't believe I'm so interested in this movie. It's going to be sucktacular, but G.I.Joe was fun as hell while growing up and I've always wanted to see a live action version.

Anyway... More on characters.

Cobra Commander: Contrary to my post above, it seems that a Cobra Commander has been cast for this film. Cobra Commander will be played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the kid alien from the show, "3rd Rock From the Sun."

Zartan: Played by Arnold Vosloo, the chief antagonist in "The Mummy."

There are more, but I'm afraid I've already exposed the depth of my geek tendencies. Any more and I think I might get banned.

 

Anyone see the movie yesterday? No spoilers but how was it.

 

I seen it yesturday. thought it was the boringest movie i ever seen. i was seriously about to fall asleep

 

How is that possible? I'm still going to watch it but with low expectations. I was hoping this would this year's Iron Man and surprise people.

 

Saw it yesterday and thought it was bad-ass!

Not much story plot but plenty of action scenes and Snake Eyes kicks some ass!

I will say that it made me feel more amped compared to Transformers 2.

 

Do they explain why Snakeeyes is a mute?

Of course they must of left room for a part 2. Can't wait to see which characters from the original cartoon are in the movie. If you remember the Cartoon movie, "Beachead" puts together a group of misfits including Jinx, Side-Kick, Tunnel Rat, and a few others.

 

I think Snake Eyes remains silent as a respect from his master's death when he was young, anotherwords taking a bow of silence. Stormshadow mentioned something about that I thought.
