The punisher, was a good movie period. You dont need to like comics AT ALL to enjoy that film. Punisher 2 is coming out eventually, and I cant wait to see that. The first XMEN was great, then they declined. So far, same with Spiderman. Im praying that the director is the same, or as good. Luckily, Thomas Jane remains the lead role.

Personally, Im amazed Nick Cage took such a sh!tty script, however, being branded as a comic book hero is the "in" thing in Hollywood. Its as cool as being bond now. Guess he figured he'll take what he can get.

As far as believable roles go....IMHO....tied for first place are Hugh Jackman and Thomas Jane for Wolverine and Punisher. Ian McKellen is #2 for magneto....fantastic actor, and carries the role VERY well. I guess Ill give Toby #3 for spiderman...seems very fitting for the role....

Nick Cage just doesnt seem to fit the role. Ghostrider should be someone dark, grimy, gritty....maybe someone like Mickey Rourke....heck, even Clive Owen fits better than Cage.

I thought i was the only person who liked the punisher alot...

I thought the first 2 x-men's (singers) where great, but was not a huge fan of the last one.

I have yet to see ghost rider yet.. from what ive been reading, im prob going to wait until it comes out on DVD.

My gf looked at me halfway through the movie and said can we pls go and we did, it was a horrible movie! i don't know if the last half was any good but the first half was torture!

I'm not much of a comic book movie fan, but the punisher was amazing, i love that movie!
I thought the first part of the movie was corny. I mean come on, the dad jumps through a ring of fire lands on the ramp and dies. Totally lame. After cage becomes ghost rider I think the special effects take the front seat and the movie gets cool. But ya, he kills everybod way to easily.

Ghost Rider wasn't that bad, it was entertaining and had moments of brevity to tide you over till he transformed again.

I didn't think it was a "good" movie, but it didn't suck.

Punisher, the newest one, not the one with Dolph Lundgren, I did consider a "good" movie.
I was a big punisher comic book fan and I thought the new movie was weak. He was just a big whimp with a retarded suposed-to-be-funny sidekicks! I think Man on Fire should have been named the Punisher and the Punisher should have been named Some Dude Whos Pretending to be the Punisher. Denzels character was much more hardcore.

I saw this movie sunday and it was just okay. The visual effects were pretty cool, but the dialogue was just mediocre.

But, Eva Mendez was great!
