Did anyone else see the trailer for ghostrider? can't wait, but i dont think nicholas cage was the right actor for the movie..

 

My all time favorite Super Hero ever since I was a kid. Everyone else liked Spidey, Bats, Hulk and etc. I was all GR. Too bad the movie was done my Johnson.(guy who directed DareDevil), but I this looks like it has potential (trailer can be seen at Apple.com)

As far as nicholas cage goes, the reason they picked him was because he too was an uber GR fan...(hell, he has a GR tattooed on his shoulder long before the movie was even discussed) and he begged to have the part.

 

After seeing the trailer for this movie, I can't help but think this is gonna go the way of Daredevil :holdsnose: I'm not really holding my breath to see Nic Cage play a superhero....he's just not.

 

NC seems to old to play Johnny Blaze...

 

Cage is too old, but the trailer didn't look THAT bad, Ghost Rider as a superhero is behind wolverine and punisher

 

In terms of what? In terms of popularity, of course, but I've never liked Wolverine, so IMO I find GR to be at the top of the heap. BTW, Nic isn't too old to play Johnny Blaze....if he plays Danny Ketch, then yeah...he's too old. But Johnny Blaze is supposed to be an older retired stunt driver.

The only catch is that Johnny is blonde.
