GLADIATOR II...Two times the fun?
I just got back from GLADIATOR II. Another epic from the brilliant Ridley Scott.
This continues the story of son who escaped at the end of the original Gladiator. It's full of nods to the original, told in much the same way- with villains and reluctant heroes. Really an excellent second go around. But was it better than the first? I'd say nearly.
I give it an 8.5/10. I'd say kids 14+ will find some redeeming qualities- it's just more graphic violence than anything else.
