What did you all think of this movie? I'm a History and Political Science Major, so I love these types of flicks. I picked up a few things in almost every scene, but I can't put my finger on what the deeper message is?

I got some movie passes for Xmas so I ended up seeing this moive. I wanted to see Rocky but my friend that was with me had already seen it.

Lets just say this isn't my kind of movie. I got lost a couple of times and am still a little confused. Kinda long and needed more action. I got sick of matt damons face never changing. I really dont' have much to say about it. Id say this movie is to a direct audiance and I dont' fit into the catagory of people.

I think im gonna have to rent it sometime and try to understand it better

Way too much whispering the entire movie. I realize that's a part of the CIA, but I couldn't hear a damn thing. Time to turn my radio down....

Movie was good though, CIA history/Bay of Pigs/Cuban Missile Crisis was always interesting to me.

it is a REAL GOOD INSITE INTO THE EARLY 60'S AND THE FORMATION OF THE CIA
MAYBE THE BEST.

i thought about the movie about a week now and the most interesting line is:

while the special forces, yet to be called the CIA is doing a 24 style interrogation on a Russian spy it was said:

"its all painted rust. if you just ignore the Russian government it will crumble away in time, its only your desire to maintain your war machine that makes America think it

I am not really sure how I feel about the movie. I do know that if I was Matt Damon, I surely would not be treating Angelina Jolie that way , but that's probably because she's my favorite female actor ever.

I think I would have liked it better had I gone in with different expectations. I was thinking more of a "Bourne Supremacy" type movie, and that wasn't at all it. However, I think there is something cool about the secrecy of the CIA, and many former agents agree that the lifestyle is pretty well depicted, so I think it was worth seeing it for sure. It actually moved me from being somewhat interested in CIA work to not at all.

On another note, I got the "not getting it" thing all throughout the theater I was in as well. Not only did many people walk out, but there were distinct snoring sounds. That only made things worse lol
