Default HOUSE OF DYNAMITE...Bigelow works for Netflix awesomeness

We just watched HOUSE OF DYNAMITE on Netflix. This was directed by Kathryn Bigelow of Zero Dark Thirty fame. I really like these types of movies- slow burn drama building tension with a very nearly reality based story.

This is an excellent political drama done well. Some big names like Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson, amongst others make their appearance.

If you liked Zero Dark Thirty, you'll enjoy this. It does have an ending that leaves you hanging, but encourages discussion.
Not really for kids under 14 unless they won't easily dwell on the very real possibility of this being a documentary one day.

I give it an 8/10.

Everyone seems to be complaining about the ending. I thought it was a well done movie. I can fill in what the ending was -- no need to show me Armageddon.

I recall the 80s movie "The Day After" tried to show what happens when all of the warheads go off. It was hokey back then and has not aged well since.

I think everyone should see this movie. We are still under the gun of nuclear weapons today, perhaps even more than during the Cold War.
