The new JJ abrams' movie trailer before Transformer was awesome. It's coming out in 01-08-08. Anyone know whats this movie about? I was thinking it could be the new Godzilla movie but could be some kind of aliens or giant robots one. I am really looking forward to watch this movie.

It may be lame. Big possiblity because most giant monster movies turn out to be lame. But I will pay the $8 just to here that roar sound through a good theater system a few more times. The sound in the theater during the trailer almost gives you the chills.

They are putting a lot of mystery behind this right now and they are hyping it up pretty big. I was trying to find some more info about it on google. I didn't find anything about the movie itself. But I found a few sites that were constantly referenced in most of the articles I found.

I don't know. It's all pretty weird right now. But there are a lot of people who think this will be a new Godzilla movie. And others have been saying Voltron or Cthulhu.

It looks like though that the websites are going to get an update on August 1st, so I guess we'll have to see.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has some tie to Lost.

ive been reading up on this since i saw the trailer on the 3rd beginning of Transformers. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/v...ic.php?t=19964 go there for more info. JJ abram said The ethan hass sites are not related to the movie. And that parasite movie site is fake too. People say that http://www.slusho.jp/ has something to do with jj ambram.

 

All I know is, that trailer was very clever marketing. It got me (and apparently a lot of other people) interested in knowing more about this movie...which is what good marketing is all about.

Hahaha, I remember right after that trailer ran, the whole theater gave out a simultaneous "WTF?!". Then as the theater cleared after the movie, you could hear lots of people saying, "Damn, I gotta look up that JJ Abrams movie on the net when I get home".

One of the things that hasn't been mentioned in this thread is the name of the movie...from what I've read, the movie is currently codenamed "Cloverfield". I found it interesting that the entire trailer was filmed with a camcorder, which gave it a more realistic yet ominous feel (ala Blair Witch Project). It'd be interesting if they decided to film the entire movie that way...which, from what I've read, may be a possibility.

Personally, I don't mind yet another "big monster" movie, as long as the overall story is good and executed properly.

If you read the History of SLUSHO it's kinda trippy. It talks about how the original founder was lost at sea and how her son discovered a deep sea ingredient and put it in a drink that makes people "grow into small whales" by drinking it. WEIRD

But yeah this movie definitely has some major buzz around it, and I really wanna learn more!! Can't wait to see what this is all about
