Love Actually
I just watched this the other night with my girlfriend on DVD. I was expecting to have to sit through some "A Walk to Remember" or "Sweet Home Alabama" type movie, but I was actually suprised by this. I admit that I like Hugh Grant as an actor - hes funny. And I like British comedy...I liked Notting Hill and Bridgette Jones' Diary.
Anyways, Love Actually was really a good movie. I was quite suprised. The movie portrays about 5 different stories going on at the same time - stories about relationships between people. It takes place over 6 or so weeks before and leading up to Christmas. I do recommend to see this movie just once. It gives you a "feel good sense" at the end and the movie really is funny. On many parts I had a pretty good laugh.
Well, time to go watch Die Hard and gain back some of my lost testosterone now

I liked it. It is one of the better chick flicks that you will be forced to watch by the significant other. A few good laughs.
The US bashing was a little predictable, they had the same type of stuff in the Ali G movie.

Yea that U.S. bashing was gay, after seeing the "prime minister" I guess grow some balls and "stand up for himself" I turned of the dvd player, and mumbled bloo-e bastards as I left.
alot of brits did not think much of tony blair's decision to help the US with the war on terrorism. but personally i think with hindsight it was not a bad decision. the brits are not out to get the americans, more of us emmigrate to the US than americans come to us.

It does have some funny parts but what was the US bashing about?
Anyway... porn movie stand-ins
