This movie is not for everybody but it is very good. It was the Ebert & Roper video pick of the week so I checked it out. The guest critic named it his movie of the year. It was apparently at Sundance and might not have had wide release here. (it looks to be an Irish film)


If you think Resident Evil 3 was good, this aint for you. Best way I can describe it is "bittersweet romance, with lots of music" which aint generally my cup of tea but my wife and I really liked it. The music is very good.

If you want something different, and to earn points with the wife or gf, try this movie.

 

I saw this and LOVED it. Very beautiful film with fantastic music.

 

lol, i saw it a few weeks ago with my girlfriend, loved it... great music, both main characters easy to identify with, just a awesome movie

 

i liked it. the movie was all about the music. really wasnt much of a story, but didnt have to be. amazingly acted for ppl who are mainly musicians.

happened to see it on dvd, just before the oscars. and when i heard the main song again, it just didnt do it for me apart from the movie.

honestly, one of the few movies ive seen recently i enjoyed watching to the end.
