Which ones will survive?
Schedule permitting, I like to check out the first episode or two of some of the new shows. Primarily to see if there is anything DVR/Tivo worthy, but also to see which new shows I think will fail or survive. We actually have a small office pool that you pick your winners and losers, along with how many episodes before the losers vanish.
Feel free to add any shows I miss.
Accidentally on Purpose - pretty funny but I started losing interest about 15 minute in. May give it one more shot this week.
Trauma- OK, watched it and was not really impressed. Will give it one moreview and then off the DVR schedule it comes.
Jay Leno - Really did not like him on the Tonight Show, not really feeling much more love for him now.
NCIS: Los Angeles - Thought this one had some potential with LL and Chris O'donnell - not impressed. Guessing it will stick around for a while since all of the CSIesque shows are pretty popular. Watched episode #2, can not really say it was really better than the first but it was easier to watch. Will give it one more shot
The Forgotten - Nothing good to say about this one. Thinking it will go the way of Slater's last series My Own Worst Enemy (which was actually interesting the first couple episodes). Watched episode #2, was marginally better but not good enough to keep on the DVR...
The Good Wife - Decent acting but a little boring. Not sure where they can actually take this one.
Modern Family - Most everything in the first episode was played out in the previews. Still not sold, but will watch a couple more to see what develops
Cougar Town - Some funny bits, but fear it will fall into the fail catagory
Glee - Looks like a well put together show, but a little to High School Musical for me.
Flashforward - This one looks very interesting. Fast paced, lots of tension and suspense. Pretty much the only new show that I am excited to see the next episode.
I did not watch Three Rivers or Mercy - other than House, Nip Tuck and Scrubs, I do not really get into medical shows.
One show that I thought looked very promising was Defying Gravity. Looks like it was cut due to ratings (what can you expect putting it on Sunday evening up against Football, Trueblood, etc..
Interested to hear what others think about some of the new shows.

Unless of course they are able to keep the unkown unkown enough to keep the interest going kinda like Lost?
just wondering if you guys have heard anything about a season 2 for Fringe ?
we got season one here in Australia, i though it was a decent show, as it is something different from CSI, CSI miami, CSI NY... etc .

Trending Topics
FlashForward & Accidentally on Purpose are the only two I watched.
FlashForward is awesome, and has made it into my DVR rotation. I really hope they keep the excitement going in this one, and that the cause of the FlashForward is moderately believable and that it doesn't turn out to be some way-too-far-out-there Fringe-type show.
Accidentally on Purpose is one that I'll probably watch in re-runs after all of my favorite shows have made their initial run. I love Jenna Elfman, but not sure this story will really hold my interest. I watched the first episode and thought it was moderately funny, but I haven't bothered trying to watch it since then. Too hard to squeeze it in with House, Heroes, Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother also falling on the same night, and my DVR won't record 3 shows at once, so it gets dropped.
I also thought Defying Gravity looked like an interesting premise, but had a feeling it was going to be too much of a soap opera for me. I missed the first episode, and didn't bother trying to play catch-up.

Pulled Trauma, NCIS LA and Forgotten from the DVR, just can not get into them.
Starting to get into Accidentally on Purpose and Cougar Town. Not sure how long the latter will keep my attention.
Flashforward is still rockin. Definately have to watch it from Ep. 1. Kinda like 24 - it all ties into previous episodes.
