Default Open Water

Seriously, this movie was soooo bad, theres a ten minute pitch black scene for any of you guys wanting to get freaky in the movie theatre, wink wink. thats prolly the best part of the whole movie. Not only can I say dont go see it, but I think Ill also throw in not to waste your money renting it. Its kind of like a Water version of blair witch project. Same type of camera action going on. I can not stress how retarded this movie was. I know I am not the only one that thinks this way because at the end of the movie, everyone boo'd.

the ONLY good part about this movie was when the girl was naked on the bed. Thats about it.

This is the only movie that i have seen ppl walk OUT on.

Such a disturbing movie too. Its one of those movies that make you go "WTF?!" after it ends.

My in-laws saw Open Water this weekend (before I read this) and told me it sucked beyond belief.

When the Discovery Channel did Shark Week, they had a lot of commercials promoting this movie & even did a short thing on the making of it, interviewing the actors. Just based on that, it didn't look that interesting.

but why not?? as long as i don't get caught and the theater doesn't make the effort to catch me, then who am i hurting?? after all, even if i don't watch it for "free", i still wouldn't pay to watch it, so noone is really losing any money out of it. in fact, if i watch it for free, and then end up liking it, then i might end up recommending it to people who will as a result go pay to watch it, thereby helping this movie generate more income. and if after these people watch it and THEY like it, then they may recommend it to others, and so on and so forth. so just by my sneaking in to watch a movie for free, i may in effect be helping this movie generate more income than it otherwise would, if i had not watched it at all...

The first 15 mins of the movie was pretty bad but we pushed through that and got to the meat of the movie. In actuality it was pretty close to what actually happened to those 2 divers. I can relate to everything they said and did while being lost at sea. Most of you dont realize that when your in that certain position at that time, with all those obstacles, s*it happens and most of it was very accurate. Sorry a handful of you thought it was bad. On a 1-10 scale I gave it a 6.
