Paranormal Activity
just saw it last night, it dragged...for a long time
the ending was horrible, i think it'll be better and more chilling if the girl just walks off into the dark, instead of that same old monster shit
overall i liked it because it's different, it's subtle, i like how it emphasizes on an energy instead of a monster.
but i dont understand how she was haunted by the energy since 8 year old, now the bf disturbs that energy and she turns into a monster all of a sudden, i thought what's troubling her is the "energy/spirit"

I think you mis-understood the backstory.
A Demon (the spirit) has selected her since she was a kid.
It will never go away.
It has come before in small doses, but, when the movie starts, it's gotten suddenly bad.
What we witness is the "fulfillment" of the promise that this demon would eventually take her.
The boyfriend makes it worse, for sure (negative energy, trying to communicate, etc) but really she never would have survived.

I enjoyed the movie since my GF friend's were all crying after the movie. I told them they were most likely getting pulled out of bed now. They then started balling.

God did this movie blow! I started laughing when the night would start. It was the same shit every time! They go to bed, the camera speeds up, then you just sit there waiting like "wtf, why am I watching this shit for the 5th time?!"
Nothing cool ever happens, then they completely rip off Blair Witch right at the end.
Luckily, I did not pay for my ticket.

I don't know about anyone else, but for most of the movie I just wanted the chick to take off her shirts and show those cannons. That to me was more suspenseful than the story itself.
They looked like a solid pair !!! one of the night scenes, she'd looked really hot in that white bra !!!
I have to agree this movie is brilliant !! .. without the stupid music and bloodshed … they tried to keep it simple and realistic …

***SPOILER***
It was ok up until the part where he throws baby powder on the floor and the thing leaves tracks in it after that I was Like "WTF!!, this isn't a demon its ****** E.T. with a cloaking device."
I really can't complain too much about seeing scary movies, as the girlfriend seems to be extra frisky after seeing scary movies.
