Default Peking Duck?

No, I'm not looking for recipes... I'm looking for the best place in Los Angeles to enjoy a well prepared Peking Duck. Richard? Anyone?

Thanks!

hmm...i know a couple of places, if you want to let me know and we can all set up a time to try that.

Peking Duck is best served at a table of 5-8 people.

There is a restaurant in Monterey Park with the same name that is supposed to be run by people from the original one in Beijing. I've been there once, but was not impressed.

Here are some pictures you can enjoy:

Ahh, sounds like a good idea for a get together! I was actually asking for a date with a pretty special girl though, and the extra people would get in the way . Peking Duck is a fav. of mine, but she's never had it and I want to make sure that her first time is a good as it can be (am I still talking about duck?)

Anyone have any restaurants to suggest, maybe even one that is kinda fancy or even a tad romantic?

Yamashiro in Hollywood. Good food, great view, wonderful Japanese garden.

It's difficult to be romantic and practical at the same time

he's going to feel like a lot of things after half a Peking duck but being romantic is unlikely to be one of them!!

My kind of answer!
Some places I've been will serve a half-duck, which would be about perfect for two IMHO. Nevertheless, Kim and I see no shame in the doggie bag

I don't think Peking Duck makes an ideal takeaway. It'd be waste to order one and then not finish it.
