watched this last night in a full cinema.....

to be honest , i wasnt impressed , chase scences were too hard too follow ( bad camera work) .

the movie just lacked "mojo" i tried to like it ... but left dissapointed . The bad guy just wasnt bad enough IMO and he didnt have a trade mark defect either , which is uncool ehehhee

i dont think you can quality Olga as a "Bond girl" cause Bond didnt shag her

and is it just me . or the villian looks just like Rupert from the Hello Deli from the Late show ?




overall , i give this one 2 flat tops out of 5 !

That has to be the WORST JB movie I have ever seen!!

No plot development, Choppy action scences, No character development. Who the F is Vespa. I thought it is a scooter made in Italy!

 

It's actually Vesper, not Vespa. As in Vesper Lynd, James Bond's former lover who was killed in the previous movie.

 

i thought the movie was pretty dumb.
i watched first 20 minutes and walked out.

it follows the regular JB criteria:
girl - yes
expensive car - yes
driving and shooting - yes
money - yes
thugs - yes

that's all there is to it

 

dood, it was nowhere near WALKOUT BAD, it was still decently entertaining!

 

if his name wasn't bond and M wasn't in it, you would never know it was a bond movie. What happened to Q explaining his cool gadgets and car. and where the hell is the theme song!!! This applies for both casino royal and QOS.

Although I really did like QOS' opening song

 

I turned to my wife and said it looks like Ben Linus from Lost and Steve Buschemi had a kid together.


I saw, I liked but yeah the car chase was too short and needed more tension. The figth scene with the chains and the scaffolding was shot way to close up and over edited. A pull back shot would have been so much better there too.

Not one gadget, I would like at least one.

But a good movie, not a great one.

 

Yeah, the plane chase really didn't do anything for me either. The noticeable lack of gadgets kinda bummed me out too.


On another note, the people sitting beside us in the theatre must never have seen a Bond movie before. Throughout the movie they were saying things like, "Oh that's ridiculous!" and "That's SO unrealistic." Ummm....YEAH that's what Bond is all about!
