Got my hands on a copy of Ringu and saw it this weekend. Great movie. I can't tell which one I like more. Both movies are very similar yet the differences are substantial. I like 'em both. The US version was definitely scarier for me due to the better special effects. Heck, Ringu was made for less than $2.0M.
