The first hour of Saw was cool, then became laughably bad. The acting was horrible and the story fell apart. That guy from Princess Bride was too funny when he was trying to be dramatic. I was hoping for better.
lol give the guy some credit, he's a first-time director. IMO it's a pretty good movie, at least it's unforgettable.

Just saw the first one.. never got the chance earlier.

I give all the credit to the Director/Writer, not only was his acting decent, he put together a good story, I think if he had a bigger budget he could have done great things with that movie.

Cary was just horrendous though.. I always thought he was decent actor, but that was weak

none the less, I'll see the Saw 2 based on this first one

i just watched the first one. i can't stand "scary movies". there was a twist at the end yes. i guess i'm just not mentally fit enough to watch these movies to just be scared once. hahaha.

I think Saw is one of the best "disturbing" movies that came out....other than Seven...

The movie had the right idea just needed to cast better actors. The acting towards the end was completely killing the mood of the script but suprising nonetheless.
