The DVD is released already. It may be a slightly different version than what is in the theaters due to some edits and shortening.. I saw the movie in the theater in Scottsdale (Phoenix), Arizona and bought the DVD just in case I wasn't able to get to the movie. It's very well done.
Where did you purchase the DVD? Not sure if the one on Amazon is the appropriate one...

My gf and I both loved it. We both really appreciated the fact that they didn't pull away from the footage for interviews. Rather, the interviewees were dubbed into the soundtrack; it really improved continuity and pace.
The movie finally made it to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. The movie lived up to my expectations; the amount of candid footage was amazing. For those who don't know, Senna played a major role in the development of the Acura NSX. Four friends and I drove our NSX's to the movie and parked as a group. When we came out, there were three guys standing next to the cars; one by each car, and a girl was taking pictures of them, Paparazzi style. The four of us leaving the movie got a kick out of seeing that while walking to the pizza place near-by. Senna's memory will live on not only as a legendary F1 driver and philanthropist, but also for his key role in the development of the NSX.
I've heard that there are two versions of this movie.. the one we have at the theater is a considerably shortened version...I'm wondering where I can get my hands on the uncut version (which is supposidly three times as long)
