From the Miami Vice thread, there was the statement the most movie remakes or TV series to Films suck. (not talking about sequals here.)

So here's a though, picking which ones are actually good should be a much shorter list.

There is dispute on Shall We Dance as well... some say that the two (Japanese and English) are different movies.. I actually enjoyed both... seeing Tucci as the dude with the wig was pretty hilarious.

 

err... i can't agree with you on Shall We Dance. Tucci was funny but so was the Japanese guy that played the same role.

 

I'm gonna be the first in line when they make "Walker Texas Ranger The Movie". That movie will kick ass.

anyone seen count of monte cristo? seen the remake ... not the original..

 

Point of No Return did suck. It added nothing that wasn't done as well or better in the original La Femme Nikita. Why is an exact copy good?

I have the same complaint about the Psycho remake a few years back. Who the F. cares that it is Vince Vaughn!?
