i just watched it last night on IMAX. i thought this movie was ridiculously terrible. but at the same time, it was funny because of all of the unintentionally hilarious and/or retarded scenes. emo parker, out of place reporter, harry's butler, sandman getting hit with the first exploding ball, ahhh too many to name.
also, what was up with sandman? his character made no sense at all to me. at least when other movies or books have these kind of sci-fi characters, there's some kind of explanation that at least kind of makes sense. this one didn't all.
however, keep in mind i don't read the comics, and am not really a spiderman fan in general.

terrible, this movie is.
aw man I can't even begin to describe what was wrong with it...there was soo much.
but here's for starters:
WTF happened to the crane? you'd think spidey had been called on to go save a woman falling froma building, not stop the runaway crane. it was like "I saved you!. poof crane disappears. everyones happy.
and the dialogue? "hows the pie? sooo good" yeah it was hella funny, but not intentionally.
how about soem casting mistakes? toby mcquire from the begning never looked like a peter parker. now he just looks weird in the whole movie. and wtf with topher grace as brock? That skinny kid from that 70's show as the ultra badass venom?
the dance scenes, the crappy editing, even the special effects weren't really that great. what a waste of an evening.

Woah you guys are harsh. Maybe it's because this movie was way over hyped and you guys are expecting too much. I watched this movie to simply relax and enjoy my popcorn.
