Default Star Trek: Nemesis

Okay, it;s two days to the opening night... I am so excited... early reviews have put this movie on par, and in a couple of cases, better than Wrath of Khan and/or Undiscovered Country

I like my Star Trek, but I am not a Trekkie... just a fan

Undiscovered Country was one of their worst. Hopefully Nemesis is going to be better. 2002 ultimate movie is going to be Lord of the Rings -The Two Towers.

Wantone:

Star Trek: First Contact is the borgy borg one.

Tnguyen: Undiscovered Country was awesome for the story, Wrath of Khan for the action and space battles... for this one, they're saying it's nearly the best story ever for a Star Trek film and that the final battle should leave WoK with its head in the dirt

SpaceNerds unite!!
J/K, I can't wait to see Nemesis too. But Lord of the Rings is definitely more on my mind right now.
And yes, WoK was the best Star Trek IMO.

Steve,

I want to see Nemisis on Friday or maybe Saturday, but not sure which show or where? If we end up going by our selves, we'll probably hit Kapolei (plenty of parking...)

I went, I saw, I loved

No spoilers, but this is by far THE best Next Gen Star Trek movie... I'm seeing it again next weekend this time with friends

It gets 4.5/5 stars from me

hmmm...

just came back from a matinee (Gee Zus, $6.50 for a freaking matinee, who says the economy isn't doing well?).

it was ok but not great. entertaining but hardly a great movie.

for context, i don't really like the original star trek and while i enjoy TNG, i never got into DS9 or the other trek series and don't consider myself a trekkie by any stretch of the imagination.

Boring, pompous and self-absorbed. This confirms why I never liked TNG.

Where are you James T. Kirk? The galaxy needs you.
