Thor (2013)
It was entertaining to watch but lacked a bit on content. Overall worth seeing in theaters but I thought the first one did a lot more character development. Loki was really the showstealer in this one.
1. Loki seems to also be trying to make others think he's dead. His death on the battlefield was obviously faked on purpose, in which he heard Thor's genuine feelings for his 'brother'. Loki is known to flip flop good side to bad side, so we don't really know what he's scheming by playing that he's dead.
2. Where is the real Odin? he may be in Odin Sleep or hurt or dead?
3. Impersonating the King was another way to get Thor to leave Asgard….presumably so Loki can rule as Odin? Also we needed some reason for Thor to stay on Earth as he's a regular member of The Avengers.
The Collector is a guy that collects rare artifacts from the universe. He's presumably going to be a bridge between the more space-oriented movies. Guardians of the Galaxy is coming out after Captain America: The Winter Soldier and we should see more about the search for the Infinity Gems/Stones. The Collector mentioned something like "2 down, 3 to go" because there are 5 infinity stones needed for the mighty Infinity Gauntlet that Thanos is so famous for wielding. The interesting part about that scene is that the infinity stone from Thor The Dark World was brought to the Collector to keep the two stones apart from each other, however him mentioned 2 down and 3 to go makes it seem like he may be secretly working for the baddies.
