there were actually 2 S2000's in the parking garage scene where Sean (is that the main characters name?) meets the drift king. an RSR-type painted one (red/white graphics) and a yellow one with a lot done to it (most on these boards would consider it ricey though) and that one's a LITTLE harder to find but its there.

3 fast 3 furious was the best movie of 2006. i did not see a film that even came close in terms of entertainment value. the ff series is non stop laughs and action. the writing and dialogue were perfect. my only gripe is that vin diesal did not have a main part in the movie. i cant wait for the 4th FF.

movies that i saw which sucked imho:

superman - terrible
pirates - sucked
MI:3 - terrible
bond - decent
departed - hyped up, but decent
blood diamond - started out good, bad ending

MI:3 - terrible ?!?!? C'mon now. Let's not get carried away. That was one heck of a movie!

Personally, I like the 1st FF movie, followed by the 2nd, and the 3rd (doh!).

I tried not to think while watching it.

I did like the composition of this one a bit better than the previous two. Frankly, they're sucking less each film. I wish they'd just get rid of the pseudo-drama involving "the kid who has to prove himself." People who go see car movies don't need that profound of an emotional buy-in. We all know why he likes to drive fast and drift; it's a rush! Now, just give us a motivation for him winning (girls, gangs, actual sanctioned racing), and we're there.

the illusionist was better than tokyo drift (even though its hard to compare movies that have completely different plots) from an interest standpoint. but for eye-candy, yes tokyo drift was really good.

and what about the descent?

dont mean to bump this
but i wanna say, yes it was the only FF movie i liked
i actually bought it! i wasnt dissappointed, of course teh story sucked. the DVD is pretty good, all the extras rock. i wish they wouldnt have cut so many scenes, none of the deleted scenes were bad...

i tend to watch the movie alot, i start on scene 5 LOL
still hurts seeing that s15 get so wrecked, but i love the Atari Teenage Riot for racing music! that rocked my Sox! imma a mildly heavy Atari Teenage Riot fan. and a Pharrell fan and 5678's, so yeah, the soundtrack was a big draw. that Teriyaki boy's song blew my mind and was stuck in my head for days to come, then we downloaded the soundtrack.

Han's orange in black RX7 is prolly my fave car in the world now. funny thing is...i actually thot it was an S2000! cus of the Wide body kit, it makes the car look shorter in sum scenes. so i got to thinking, is there a hardtop (i acutally dun like convertables...yes, im strange), cus then id consider buying one.

and thats wen i saw the Honda OEM Hardtop and loved teh way the Rear Window seemed to just float over the back of car. and i made sure i got a Hardtop with my car!
but i actually spotted 2 S2k's in FF3. the one in the first part of the parking garage scene (dude checking under the hood, u can tell by the length of the hood) and the second i think i spotte right after Sean Drifts the s15 backwards into sumone elses car (its parked like on the other side or sumn)

but i forgot the Black S2k was even in the first FF. but i do remember seein that stock box air-cooler when they opened the hood, cus id never seen that in a car before (the imfamous stock S2K black box)
then sumone reminded me, that that lil powerpuff girl drove a pink one in the second movie (that hurt my S2k pride....)

but tokyo drift has its moments and quotable lines; like the AE86 placed in just the right spot as the EVO Drifts by it. and who can forget
"Get in" ill get u ur money "why u actin like u got a choice?" (my new chick pick up lines)
or
"This aint a Negotiation"
or when Bowow sees his "ride" lol, his reaction is soo funny *slaps hands togethers and acts excited* LOL

but i kinda wanna watch teh first one again. just to see that scene of the Vtec kiking in (thats floatin round on our boards)

I thought the third was the worst of the trilogy. The first was the best IMO. Tokyo Drift had so much potential too, but I thought it was almost unwatchable.
