so i just heard on the MTV movie awards they are starting Transformers 2 tomorrow....

News from a few days ago:

May 29, 2008 - With production on Transformers 2 already underway, we were starting to wonder if we'd ever get confirmation on which actors from the first film would be returning for the sequel. Shia LaBeouf will be back, of course. And now we know who'll be joining him.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals today that Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro will all be back for another round of Michael Bay-style giant f****** robot action.

Earlier this week, news broke that The Office's Rainn Wilson will have a role as Sam's college professor.

Transformers 2 is now filming in L.A. and will soon move to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, before heading overseas for a final round of location shooting.

 

awesome! i wonder how mr bay is going to top the first one it was pretty damn good, i hope this dont end in chaos with most of the sequels out there, micheal bay does have a rep for shooting his films pretty quickly so i hope he dont mess this up =o(

 

I read something on IMDB the other day and had some stuff about the plot. You can go check it out if you want, I'm not going to spoil it though. If you watch the end of the first one closely (cut scene after the credits start rolling, it will give you a clue).

i found it funny the dumped them in the ocean at the end.... since in the G1 cartoon, thats where their base was.

I've read the outline of the story online somewhere (Not a Script but basically the summarization of the entire story).

It's going to be a great movie. I'm excited.

 

I hope they keep it as fresh as the first one with less preaching chatter at the end.

Wish they didn't only do GM cars. S2k transformer could kick Soltice transformer's ass!

 

There will be less GM in this one. I'm not giving anything away though.
