Late to the party but my son and I just caught TRON:ARES in 3D.

I really liked the last TRON LEGACY- although critics gave LEGACY a bad review, the fans and public liked it. I expected Jared Leto's less than stellar track record to disappoint. I was expecting ARES would be a dumpster fire...but surprisingly it wasn't. Leto's acting actually really worked as a computer/synthetic/unemotional character. The music by NIN was thumping- well done overall. Special effects well done. They merged the Tron and real world well.

So it was nearly as good as LEGACY. Kids will enjoy the spectacle.

I give it a 6.5/10.
