It could be a date movie - the action parts you see in the trailers are pretty much all the actions parts in the movie. Most of it is background and suspense. And I don't get the universal knock on the German actors speaking English. If it were truly historically accurate, all the German's would be speaking in their native tongue. I would rather have everyone speaking in a plain language vs a Hogan's Hero type German bravado.
This is an Outstanding movie... I really liked it. Keeps you interested the whole time... never a slow moment.
People complain that they didn't have German accents?!?!?!?... that's the most stupid thing that I've ever heard. It was done in english to make it easier for the viewers to watch, unless all these people that complained wanted to read subtitles the whole time.
If they notice, Tom Cruise is speaking in German in the very beginning and then slowly switches over to English to depict that obviously they all spoke German in the real story.

Yeah, except every German officer spoke English including Count von Stauffenberg with his perfect American accent, which stuck out like a sore thumb.
