It's a decent movie. Some people will leave the theatre disappointed though because the trailer was a bit misleading.

 

Movie had me scared, then relieved, then scared again!!! lol
I liked it, didn't expect too much, and was pleasantly surprised at how the director can scare audiences the way he does. (if that makes any sense...)

 

It was ok. It was not in the same league as Sixth Sense or Signs though.

 

Just saw it and loved it. Funny thing, the thing that scared me most in this movie was myself? (those who saw it may understand)

 

me too i thought it sucked but when i looked back on it it was actually pretty cleverly done, a little disapointed on the "creature scenes" and how there wasnt enough of em. but i see the way the director wanted to go with making a scary movie but oscar worthy at the same time, unlike other "horror" or "thriller" movies with bad acting bad SFX and bad stories and plots.

 

I thought it was terrible, just for the fact that the trailors portrayed it as a COMPLETELY different type of movie than it is.

They should have portrayed it as a damn love story.

 

can someone tell me the plot of this movie? I have heard so many bad reviews and more likely will not watch it in the theater. On the other hand, I want to know what this movie is about.

 

Small town surrounded by a forest. Forest is inhabited by creatures. All is well unless someone sets foot in the creatures forest...Man gets injured in town, they are in need of medicines from other towns beyond the forest. Town sends someone to fetch medinces. That someone must somehow get through!

This is not a "run of the mill" movie. The plot of this movie will be different to each viewer as the Director is trying to get you, the viewer, to admit to your own fears.

I can understand how some are dissapointed. The trailers led you to believe that there are scary things in the woods, and there are, just not what you would expect.

What scares us most is what we don;t understand!
