The wet traction on the dragon is pretty impressive.

I was trying to BE coached- and learn more about driving technique by understanding why he did what he did

Isn't gravity going to push most of the oil into one corner of the engine that way? I'd be scared to run dry on one side of the engine, causing too much frictional heat and eventually over heating?

Take out the oil pan, insert oil pan baffle, put oil pan back on = profit

The greatest thing about the dragon is that this is the place where I learned my last phase of car control, and its quite simple. The dragon allows you to drive through the exact same turns, over and over, without ever touching the shifter. You can do the entire dragon in 2nd or third gear, and never clutch or shift. This allows you to learn the dynamics of DRIVING only, without worrying about car operation. This is where you become a kid in a go kart. By taking out other dynamics (clutch, shifting) you will quickly learn this dynamic one on one.....leave your ego home where it belongs, and come see what the event is all about.

I can promise anyone reading this you WILL be a better driver when the event is over. Not to mention making a bus load of life long friends and memories. There will always be threads that discourage the bad points...the other 98% of the event can't even be put into words.

I couldnt agree more billman, this amazing road has made me gain more confidence with driving my S or anyother vehicles and my driving abilities have improved dramatically. I won't say that I know my limits or the cars limits fully (i think i will understand them more when I do autox's/track events) but I know atleast the basics of it. The best part of this event is the life long friends that you meet and cant wait to see again and also memories
