Just ran the Dragon earlier today on an absolutely PERFECT 73 degree, pre-Spring Sunday afternoon. Fantastic!

My parents only live 45 mins from its Tennessee-side start point, so taking the 129 "detour" back to Atlanta was definitely a nice way to end a weekend spent washing/waxing my new S. Only had it one week thus far, but 1000 (fun) miles later....

durn it... was in K vill this weekend... I should have gone down to the dragon... Spent an entire tank of gas driving without any place in particular to go!

 

I'll be an hour west of Knoxville Mon-Thurs. Maybe my ride home should take a 'slight' detour...

 

Where is an hour west of K ville. My hometown of Cookeville is about an hour or so that direction down I 40...

 

Damn, wish I was still with Club Chef... could visit our distributor in Morristown, TN!!

I made a very quick run through Foothills parkway (My favorite), the Dragon, and the skyway on my way from knoxville to Chattanooga on Saturday. No stops, No sight seeing, No letting off. Best Drive I have ever had.

I only saw two other cars the entire time. It was perfect

Foothills would be better if there weren't so many cops on it.
