blackberry messenger
Someone told me that BB messenger works anywhere...can anyone confirm this?
It would be nice to have contact over a few miles for many reasons...

My BB (Verizon) didn't work at Fontana......
If you have one that is wifi you should be able to at least hook up to the wireless network at Fontana Lodge to check emails....
Didn't try it last year, but i can txt msg at times, even when I don't have enough signal to do a voice call.

BlackBerry Messenger requires a network to work...it works using BlackBerry's internal network...but the phone must have a signal to send/receive.
It won't work.
