Default Bourbon Tasting

Looks like we all may have to go buy some Saki cups for the tasting from now on.

Hard to imagine this has happened to such a company.

Not many things are more American than this product.

Still will be a bourbon tasting....

Scheduled for Saturday night after the banquet!!

Even tho a Japanese firm may own it.... still will be produced in KY......

So... lets skip the MM and Jim Beam... and bring one of those other fine bourbons!!!

Heard this on NPR yesterday on my way home. Had no idea this was even being considered... first our beers (InBev) and now our bourbon!

At least it sounds like everything will remain the same, save for a change of hands of ownership.

I like Saki. I wonder when will Maker's Mark start bottling it?

Beam owned Makers Mark?

On the tour they sure implied a 2nd or 3rd generation family stilled owned it...

Had their family portrait on the wall with a nice story and what the symbols on the bottle meant...

say it ain't so....

Saki is a Japanese actor and comedian. Sake is a alcoholic wine made from rice.

The S2000 is from Japan, so I guess we can drink bourbon from a Japanese own company.
