Default Brake fluid for the Dragon

Being that this is my first time on the Dragon I would like some advise on brake fluid and any other recommended preparations.

Did anyone with stock DOT3 brake fluid experience any brake fade? I'm between MOtorcraft Super Premium DOT3 or Motul 5.1. If it wasn't for the Dragon I would go with the longevity of the DOT3.

I'm running Superblue ATE. I don't know what is the best for the dragon though.

If you know the Dragon intimately, throw caution and common sense to the wind, brake hard enough to kick the ABS in constantly and don't cower from the possibility of tickets/jail (or worse) you might tax the OEM fluid beyond it's capabilities but the reigning reality is that other traffic will not let you get close to the limitations.

Having said that, I use Superblue.

If you switch to DOT4 fluid like Motul600 or ATE SuperBlue, be sure to swich JUST prior to the event. All DOT3 and DOT4 fluid is hydroscopic in that it will absorb water which lowers the boiling point. In terms of boiling point here is list from highest to lowest to help demonstrate my point:

Fresh DOT4
Fresh DOT3
"Wet" DOT3
"Wet" DOT4

I ran SuperBlue for the last Dragon event (mainly because I had it on hand when I put new pads on the car.)

I ran my S very hard using Dot 3 without any problems, but I use my gears more than my brakes.

Change all your drivetrain Fluids if you expect to Run the Dragon very Hard.

I change my Trans and Diff Fluids before each Dragon Event, or at about 7,000 to 9,000 miles.

I ran the dragon several times using the factory brake fluid. No problems yet.

I use Motul, but that's just what's in my car.

I don't brake.

I do replace my tires every 10 Dragon runs.
