Raul, it would be helpfull for us to have some numbers to give to potential sponsors i.e. last year's attendence, expected this year, and previous sponsors.

WTD '04 was 80 S2000s and 2 NSXs. I believe DBR was 55 S2000s. That's a bit higher than expected, I'm expecting ~50 S2000s (and maybe 1 F360) for '05.

Previous sponsors included Rick's, Ganley (hardtopguy), Coastal Metals, etc.

i think maybe contacting hardtopguy would be a good potential sponsor. he has long been a good source for parts, but more importantly, excellent customer service

Wake the Dragon 2004 was exceptional with 83 S2000's and the 2 NSX's = 85 cars and well over 130 people. With the planning of WTD '05, I'm anticipating about 85 - 100 S2000's. The popularity of the Dragon is overwhelming and word of mouth is traveling quick.

If we have a rough winter, the number will certianly rise because folks will be "chompin' at the bit" to drive their cars. Seriously.

As for vendors, Coastal Metals was always good to us, but they stopped supporting our events last year. Worse yet, they have not replied to my emails or my voice messages asking for sponsorship. Sad. They were good to us.

Rick's is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! Jeff (Hardtopguy.com)/Ganley Honda is also EXCELLENT. Try visiting this link for the vendor list serving/supporting s2ki.com:

Raul....rattle off some ideas. I'm putting something together at work but may not come to fruition till 01/05. Also my wife works for H.A.M. Marysville and might know someone from Honda who will come speak
