An FYI in case anyone from the Cincinnati, OH area is lingering here and going down to the run...We have had a convoy thread in the 'Regional Communities' -> 'Upper Midwest' forum going for a while...so far, just myself and Lovetodrive2000 have responded...wondering if there really aren't any other Cincy area folks going down Friday. If so and you want to join us, we are meeting at the usual Hooters on the river spot (Newport, KY) at 7am Friday to head down. If you want to join us, respond ASAP in this or the other thread or PM us with your phone number so that we know to look for you Friday morning.

I'm driving down on Thursday from NW Ohio. Are there any delays on I-75 from Dayton to the river ??

You're from Findlay, eh? I've been up there a couple of times in past years for a cycling ride called the Hancock Horizontal...remember always eating at the Cracker Barrel right off I-75 before our rides

When you say 'delays', I assume you are asking about construction? You shouldn't have any problems coming from Dayton down...I just rode that stretch last weekend actually - there is only one spot that has construction and thats just before you hit the 275 loop around Cincy - nothing major, just an overpass that they are reconstructing...you shouldn't have any probs...

Guess we'll look for ya down in Alcoa!

Yes, I've done that ride and others in the Tri-state area, I used to belong to the local bike club too.
