Set your GPS's.......!!!! for those that can't drive here, in your sleep....!!!
Normally the Northern Ohio & UMW group, come down on the night before, and stay in Blus Ash,( maybe the Indy group too ...??? ) about 15 miles North of Hooter's...Scooterboy will probably have the info on the hotel, there. Also, there are several, in the Eastgate area, that will get you closer to Hooter's.....you can ride over with the Cincy/East side group, that morning, if you wish...PM me for info on these, if you wish...!!!!! Also, several hotels right next door to Hooter's too...( a little on the "HIGH" side though )

Please provide your screen name and if a + 1 will be with you.... I will keep the list up dated...also..... Have a "FULL" tank of gas, when you get to Hooter's......!!!!
Our "radio channel" will be ( 4.2 ) for the drive down.....and the Ohio group will probably maintain that, throughout the time @ the Dragon....

Meet up at Hooter's, a little early for pics, socializing, meeting "Old & New" friends..the oos & awes of everyones "S's"......
Line - up......!!!!
Turn "RIGHT" out of Hooter's parking-lot ( Note, this is a "CHANGE" from prior caravans...!!! ) We will drive thru Covington Ky, and hit I-75 South there, rather than going all the way around the "Loop" as in the past. We will re-group, just prior to entering the Interstate...!!!!
Proceed directly to Berea Ky.....for a lunch/brunch & fuel.... maybe meet some of the Kentucky group & Indy crew..????.......after all are ready, re-group & line up....
Back down I-75 South.... to I-40 West..... stay in RIGHT lane on I-40, and exit US-129....Stay on 129, past Knoxville airport, get in LEFT lane and take 35 to Maryville.We will STOP there for the "NECESSARIES" food, beer, booze, &.....the LAST tank of gas before hitting the Dragon....
Re group...... and head for the Foothills Parkway...via, 321....!!!!!
Group-up again for the caravan, across the Foothills....
NOTE: Mikie.....tone it down, so we don't end-up in a "pull-over" with one of the Park-Rangers..... ( like last year...!!!!) "I am the leader, but NOT in charge"
This is an "Inside" joke...!!!!! to those that don't know....
Proceed to the Dragon, pull-off in the gravel lot...Have a "Driver's Meeting" on Do's & Don'ts....safety...etc.....
Then the "FUN" begins......

Bzzzt!! Wrong answer! And once again you will have gone the wrong way.

What they need to do is this:
As they approach Knoxville, they will see a sign for I75 south to I40 West. DO NOT GO THAT WAY. Just stay going straight and follow the signs for I275. This will intersect with I40 West and they need to stay in the right lane and get off on US129 South.

 

LOL it is a good thing Mark knows the way However, I will point out that last spring, we were well behind the group, and took that first 1-40 exit, and ended up back in the middle of the group with radios abuzz wondering where the heck we came from!

You are right Mark...."MALFUNCTION-JUNCTION" that's what the locals call that area.....Very deceiving....If you just stay STRAIGHT, you will end up on I-40....
