Last year's pace was perfect.....!!! The pack...wasn't strung-out all over Kentucky...and Tennessee.... We all arrived together, somewhat, in Marysville...Great pace.......
So, are you saying in the past my pace was too fast? Wanna start a fight here? Come on... bring it on Looter with the fancy nuts!

I'm ready for you.....

Maybe the year the guy from PA and Popeye led from Lexington on... at about 100 mph?

I remember this year..."VERY" well...I think it was the first year that Sharon & I attended. I had just bought the "S" a few months earlier...We deceided after joining S2K-I, that this would be a great way to meet some fellow owners and to have a good time, as well....!!!!
When we met @ Hooter's, I had never seen such a gathering..."WOW" this was just unbelievable....When we lined-up for the caravan....I was white knuckled with anticipation....The sound was beyond beleif.... OMG....this was going to be incredible... As we approached the "Gravity-Cavity", on the Northern side of Lexington, there was a line of "S's", going at least 90 mph.... We were toward the rear of the group...I had never driven that way before.... Sharon & I were looking at each other with doubt that I could keep up.... As we passed thru Lexington, on the South side, near Richmond, I could only see a couple of "S's" ahead..... We had "NO" idea where we were going...other than a place called the "Dragon"....so I said..."OK" we are going to have to catch-up...or we will be lost...!!! As our speed increased...past 130mph....We could see some more of the pack, ahead. My heart eased somewhat...but the speed was incredible...Fastest I had ever driven....
We finally caught up...and maintained that we were going to have to drive like this, to keep up with everyone.... This was the beginning, of our relationship, and bonding with our "S"...and the whole crew.... Beleive it or not.....We so look forward to being with everyone that we have met....What a "Bunch"...!!!
I am just a little concerned about our newbies.... at over a 100mph..???
For Sharon & I......NO problem...but for our newbies...I don't know about those speeds... That's why I think last year's pace was perfect...Just remembeing back to our first experience....

I conditioned all my leather today ahead of time, and figured out that there was a repaired spot on the driver's seat! The leather cleaner started stripping off the repair and the color match dye!

Whatever, let's go driving!!!
