Most of us use the Midland GXT 1000 vp4, set to Channel 4.0...

I don't know anything about 2way radios. Maybe my cheap Motorola will work.

If it's a FRS service radio and can tune channel 4, it probably will. If it doesn't, someone will have an extra radio you can borrow.

I would like to attend the Dinner at Montgomery Inn. I just bought a 2001 in Traverse City and am now retired. This would be great opportunity to connect. I live in Loveland area and 10 minutes away.

Okay, you can't make it for the Spring event, what are you doing in September? That's the second Dragon S2000 meet. That meet won't be as big, but you'll still meet a lot of great people and will have a good time. I hope you can make it out. Watch for details coming soon.
