^^^^^^ Cell phones don't work in the area around Fontana, NO towers..!!! They do work on the Foothills Pky, and Robbinsville. I thought they were working on Internet access at the village. You may want to call them. When we were there for the "Wake", the only thing that worked was "hard-line" telephone. Might consider FRS/GMRS radios....and lots of batteries...

 

Yeah, FRS radios are a must. Cell Phones won't work in the area.

 

Called Jamison - Cingular & Verizon have very good reception, not too sure of the others. They also have complimentary internet access in rooms!!!

I forgot my FRS when I attended WTD05' - definitely plan to bring it this time around!

I'm guessing it was either a) dan (crazycracker82) or b) john (poptarts).

 

Wasn't that the same guy that someone who didn't even know the dude had to drive him to his cabin.. and then he couldnt find his cabin... he was drunk and (I think) hanging out with the eigther the Ohio or Mid-A guys?

 

Was it the guy...that didn't even make the first turn, following "Billman"..with the yellow "S"....???? If I remember correctly, his car was in a tree....!!!!
