Well one week before we leave damn let this week fly by. See everyone real soon. Anyone bringing their gopro for this trip I have come up with a tow hook mount for the s just curious. Later David
im sure someone will bring one that will let you borrow it for a run or two...im hoping the same since im a cheap ass and still didn't buy one
I purchased one about month ago for this dragon trip. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in one for their gopro. Going to let some lucky people try it out if anyone is interested just let me know. You will need to bring two 9/16" wrenches to attach it your tow hook ring. Thanks Patrick for your comments. Later David

I have one with the extended battery backpack. I'm going to use it Tuesday through Friday. Probably won't do the Monster Raul-out so I might be willing to loan it. A lot will depend on what happens on Saturday. if I go with Mike's group to Peppermint Patties, I'll use it for that.

Ken I have questions about the battery life on the gopro. How long does the battery last with it set on the highest quality picture/ movie? and should it purchase another battery or the extended battary backpack. I am also thinking about purchasing another case and drilling a hole in it for plugging the charger wire with the gopro mounted in the modify mount in the car. What do you think about that idea?

The regular battery (alone) has about a 2.5 to 3 hour battery life. I run at 1024 16:9 resolution even though the files are huge. The batterypack should double that (I'll find out during the week). I'm going to run the extended batteryback next week to see how well it works. I don't know if GoPro makes a ini-car charger (even though almost any mini-USB charger should work) but I don't think it's really necessary unless you plan on recording a complete days drive. Generally 4 hours or so is more than enough.
