Sorry for the Nubbie post but it'll be my first dragon run. Is there a drive up to the area? If so when does it leave(ballpark time). My wifes family has a cabin in NC near the Dragon. Thanks for the help,We cant wait to go.

The party.. errr.. I mean drive starts out officially on Sat. morn early. The hotel is roughly 20 minutes or a lil more from the actual mouth of the Dragon. I think we leave around 9 am is rollout from the hotel. We meet for a drivers meeting before we head out and go over certain unsaid rules that need to be said for new people. Then we drive for a couple hours in groups and head to lunch and from there is up to you until our banquet.

Jale is correct about the Dragon, it's a great time. I did it last year, we had about 15 S2000's drive up together from Florida. I plan on going in 06.
