Hey guys I wanted to know if there a Noob guide to this . I been wanting to go since i got the S2 but i want to know what im getting into. Like what Work should be done on the S2000 before hand. How much money this whole trip would cost me stuff like that. thanks

Lets see.....

Lodging.... around $80 + tax a night if you get a lodge room.... you might be able to find someone to share a room....

Food.... Fri/Sat dinners are part of the registration fee.... so is Saturday lunch.... On your own for Sat/Sun breakfast... can always bring breakfast bars or pop tarts!

Gas..... plan on a couple of tanks while you are there.....

Alcohol..... bring some if you drink.... Fontana has a bar, but it can get expensive.... can't buy anything but beer close by.....

For the S2000.....

Make sure your tires are in good shape.... lots of curves in that part of the world..... if your car is in good running shape, you should be OK....

Its a blast.... lots of great people.... make some friends..... see lots of great cars.... S2000's/NSX's/Vettes/Porsche's......

Number of drives usually lined up..... just don't drive any faster or more aggressive than you feel safe doing.... the roads can be unforgiving....

All in all, it is one hell of a weekend.

ps... somebody will probably start a thread on what needs to be brought along.. ie.. sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, qt of oil, radar detector, camera etc...
