I'd rather have Friday than Monday, but I imagine you move more cars on Friday.

 

Actually the complete opposite. We have much more business on Mondays than on Fridays. It's just that Sunday is practically a guaranteed day off. Since I like my days off consecutive I prefer Sun/Mon than Sun/Fri.

 

So you get one saturday a month off?

 

Yeah. Basically we work Sunday's in a rotation. If you work a Sunday, you get the following Sat off.

It's roughly every fifth Sunday.

 

Gotcha. What's your average hours per 2 weeks?

 

During an average two week period would be 9-5 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1-9 on Thursday, and either 9-4 or 12-7 on Saturdays.

So... on average 39 hrs a week - 78 hours every two weeks.

 

Oh, that's not bad... I was thinking you were up around 100.

 

I used to be, but I started really cutting back.

Before my average schedule was Tuesday - Friday, fluctuating either 9-6 or 12-9. When I worked that schedule I would come in at least 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes late. Then on Saturdays it'd be the same - either 9-4 or 12-7.

So with that schedule it was 94hrs every two weeks.
