DSC-F717 is a model number of my camera.
Carl Zeiss is the manufacture of the lens on my camera. They make GREAT lenses.
Aperature Priority and Shutter Priority are shooting modes available on better cameras. You don't have to know what they are NOW to read on the side of the box to see that they are there.

Aperature is a measurement of an opening. (The inside diameter of the lens.)
If you zoom in as far as you can with a lens it is said to be at full zoom, the opposite of that is full wide. The lens is rated several ways, but one of the characteristics of a lens is how big the aperature is (smaller number is bigger) but it should be listed at both ends of the spectrum. Think of it like 0-60 time vs 40-100 time.

CCD== Charge Couple Discharge. It's the chip that acts like the "film" in a digital camera.

I got a Sony DSCH9 a few months back and it's really nice and not expensive.
