Yeah, I wouldn't compare the 8 to the 7 specifically because we never received them in the United States. Other than it's reliability and depreciation issues, I loved my Evo8. For WTD06' I even was registered and drove up to Kevin's (NO S8NT) house to leave from there for the event, in the Evo. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it.

The older ones, I'd agree... 95 to 98 range. But $75k for an '03 is retarded. You can snag 996 GT3s for that. Maybe a new C6 Z06.
While I do like the 6spd, targa top, and 3.2L of the 97+ ... I hate their drive by wire system.
