Typically $50 give or take, $75 if you bring a passenger, plus hotel and fuel costs. The event costs usually include maps (great for first timers!), an event t-shirt, Saturday banquet dinner, and other assorted items. There are always a few people who don't register, but your first time there, I'd highly recommend not free loading. The Saturday dinner is good fun and you'll meet a lot of good people.

Tampa? I think that's Willie Gee's turf. You'll see threads discussing various caravans start popping up in August as people get registered and start cementing plans.

 

Tampa is PrimoGen's area. Willie Gee is Daytona/Jacksonville. I've got Orlando covered.

 

I will talk to PrimoGen then, this is something I have been waiting for!

If you guys need any help with Hotels, PM me, I live within 5 minutes from most of them. Also, I have a friend that works for Marriott Corporate that may help. A new Courtyard Marriott just opened several months ago across from the airport. Actually - I think 2 or 3 new hotels popped up in the area recently - so options are a lot better than last time WTD was in Alcoa / Maryville.
