Thanks for the info on your nuts I picked up some caps (1/4") a few hours ago and they fit perfect, I need to bite them with my teeth to get them out of the nuts so they are nice and snug and theres no way they will fall out or move. I am going to get them painted some kind of funky dark purple metallic I think.

That's cool...Yours appear to be the metal ones...mine are the polyurathane ones, but that makes little or no difference !!! Be sure you sand them with very fine grit sandpaper, and prime paint them, before you apply the final paint !!!

It's the very, very little touches that make our "S's" unique to their owners !!!!!!

My painter finished the work on them yesterday, so I had a chance today to put the caps on the nuts I decided to paint them a funky purple I found in the Sikkens metallic paint book.

Heres how they turned out thanks again looter!
