DBR9 - 2009 Event Registration Thread

Those rooms were great! My daughters enjoyed their loft, and it was fun sharing a "quad" with you and Sharon, and Jim and Della.
Also, that was the ONLY Dragon meet I've ever driven something other than an S on the Dragon! I may drive the Fit this time, though

I agree. Get 'em before the Dragon, Brian. I've got a great tire guy in Durham if you don't already have one - let me know and I'll hook you up if Bridgestones are what you want.
See you and Erin there!

Okay, I'm in! I haven't been on the S2KI forums in a long, long time but I've still got my '01 S2K I bought new. Some friends and I had already planned a trip to Deal's Gap and booked rooms at Fontana Village for Sept. 17 - 20. We were planning to be there with the Cobra group that has an event that weekend. Two of our friends are Cobra owners - not the Mustang Cobra, but the Cobra Cobra. Yesterday my brother told me there's an S2000 event those same days, so this is really working out and coming together! I'm now registered for DBR.
This will be my S2000's first time at Deal's Gap. I've been on the Dragon lots of times, but almost always on a crotch rocket, not in a cage. At least the cage on the S2000 opens up at the top (if I get my replacement convertible top control module in time, that is). My S2000 has spent some time autocrossing (hate it) and has been on roadcourses (TGPR, Barber) (love it!) several times but I've got some cheap, crappy tires on it right now with plenty of tread left. Guess I'm gonna run them until they're gone. Oh well, it should still be fun.
Here are a few pictures to re-introduce myself...

Look for me at the Dragon. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and spending lots of time on the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, etc. See you all soon.
Blue skies!

Why would anyone want to "hang" from an airplane when they could just ride in it?
.... Looks like a blast!
