You know Ken, you fairly miss an opportunity to self promote. I really wish I had been more active on the boards early on. While I don't blame you directly, you did contribute to the issue with Tapoco. If folks can't support the work that's been put into an event, they should sit it out. Instead of starting incinerary threads, statements and more. DBRXI really afforded us a unique opportunity...a once in a lifetime thing really and it got hosed into the shot pile while dividing folks into different venues. I should have stood my ground and insisted DBRXI required Tapoco stays...but I didn't. Lesson learned. Don't patronize me as I've been putting on Dragon events for 11 years.
You know, it is PRECISELY this Holier-Than-Thou dictatorial attitude on your part Raul, that makes me certain I will never again participate in any event that you are a part of organizing. I've been to Ken's events, and geeze, he's always come through with flying colors, with a lot less need for self-aggrandizing. Ken has never tried to dictate where I stay or who I bring. You have done one of those and are proposing doing the second. No thanks.

Okay, let me get involved for a second and then I'm going back to being my usual, quiet, discrete, self-effacing self. In defense of Raul, Dave, he had a point in there (believe it or not) and I agreed with him (and we drank a fair amount of good bourbon together and decided that it wasn't a friendship killer). In defense of Dave, Raul, he also has some valid points (even though we've never drank a lot of bourbon together, I'm sure if it ever came to pass, we could and would). Personally, I like both of you equally and enjoy the company of the two of you. Let's just agree to remain friendly to each other (albeit at a distance), lord knows there's enough of me to go around (some say way too much and at times, I'm inclined to agree).
