The answer to your question can be found in old Dean Martin lyrics -
"When the moon hits your eye like a big-a pizza pie
That's amore"

I suggest you make love, and let your significant other worry about whats for dinner.

So we are having pizza and s'mores?

Serious reply,
After this last year, and all the money I have poured into the car to get it right, I likely would still do it, but I have had more than a few moments of regret along the way. The problem with modifying your car is establishing safe norm's for modification. Every mod from OEM has trade offs. And every trade off can bring unexpected results. For example, I love my Spoon hood. It moves the hot air out very effectively, and give the car the agressive look that I was looking for - add an SC, and that hood has to be modified for the aftercooler to clear. End result - a $2000 hood with $400 of cutting, fiberglass, and paint to get it right! It just goes like that. Now, having installed the base SOS unit, for all the more real HP you get out of it for $7000 of parts, I would not do it. But add AEM ECU / or Hondata, and a size smaller pulley -
Very nice!!!! But be prepared to pay a pretty penny for those horses. You will need the SC kit, ECU, injectors, and a tune from a more than average tuner. On top of that, you will need a new clutch and depending on torque output, a modified diff. You would likely want a set of gauges to monitor the engines operation, and likely want a high performance radiator. Those horses build heat fast, and you can use the extra cooling capacity to handle the heat. All told, including labor - you will have about $11K just in parts and be closing on $20k with labor. and that's if everything works out well. Have a couple of failures along the way, and more costs will add up quickly. Now all that is the "bad" side of modifying. There is a fun side, and that is what happens when your in the company of "car" people. My car will ultimately, be something I take to car shows and some S2k meets, where I have and will continue to enjoy a car that others respect regardless of whether they admire or reject the rather aggressive modifications. I guess I can sum it up in the comment of a gentlemen at the Starlite Car Cruise. "That car doesn't look like something you would drive!"
But here I am - 61 years old, running a car that others wish they could drive, having the time of my life. For that feeling, HELL YES, I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!

Yours in indigestion.
