Dear Ron:
So, we are not living in the past?
Are we really living in the future?
Or is that actually tomorrow?

We are not living in the future, we dread or anticipate it.
We can only live in this exact moment of the present. Open your eyes to _here_ and _now_ and don't live your life in time already gone or yet to come.

Another perplexing question...
After death, do we continue to exist or not exist?
Living in the past,

Unless science discovers new sensory modalities that are amenable to experiment and replication that impinge on the realm of the spirit, this oracle shall remain silent.
As to your closing salutation, see above. You can dwell on the past but never live there. Find something that _nails_ you to the present. Might I suggest a brisk drive on the Dragon? Works for me.

Dear Ron:
I must say, you are answering everyones questions in a very timely manner....
Here is another one, all I need is a true or false reply...
By appealing to a constant material principle, Milesian thinkers (e.g., Thales, Anaximander) suggest that reality is ultimately intelligible only in terms of the changing world of sense experience.

If a train leaves Chicago at 0100 GMT bound for Winnipeg and at train leaves Winnipeg at 0230GMT headed for Chicago, assuming both trains average 58MPH, will Raul pass away of natural causes before he succeeds in the aformentioned descibed effort?

Has this been your experience with him in the past?

If Lee leaves Fontana Village at noon
, and I leave the west end of the Dragon at 12:05pm
, at what time will our paths cross on the Dragon?
Just wanted to know so that I can be ready to wave to him!!

Your paths will never cross unless one or both of you drive to the left of the double yellow. In which case, wave for the camera, not each other.

Either this is a trick question or you have not been attending our driver's meetings.

Let me rephrase the question, as I know Lee or myself would not cross the dreaded double yellow line.......
If Lee leaves Fontana Village at noon
at averaging 62 mph...., and I leave the west end of the Dragon at 12:05pm averaging 22 mph (I'm a slow driver, and Lee is fast!), at what time will we pass by each other on the Dragon? Just wanted to know so that I can be ready to wave to him!!
Also, this is assuming we are both leaving on the same Friday morning, prior to the LEO's taking up position on the Dragon.

It's 9.2 miles from the Village to the Gap. Then, by canon, 11 miles of the Dragon for a total of 20.2 miles. This will take Lee 19.548 minutes assuming a clean run.
Therefore, you can wave to Lee when he gets to the gravel lot at 12:19.548 and you're still sitting there talking after covering a total of 23 feet before seeing another victim, er, I mean friend.
