Out of curiosity, I spoke to the owner of our small local liquor store yesterday, and he will be holding a bottle for me as soon as he can get one, with no price gouging. No guarantee when, however. The price will be as Mikey noted, though.

 

I just don't know if I could stand to open the bottle...... costs too much, I'm a poor retired guy now! .... and knowing that I could sell it for $800-$1000 without too much trouble.

 

Mikey, I'll give you the honor of opening it! But if you spill one drop.....

 

Did you bring that bottle of bourbon to DFR 2016. Damn it I missed it. Hopefully you can bring the rest of the bottle in April 2017.

 

Hey, BD, look at the posting dates. Still haven't bought it. You'll be invited when I do get it.

 

You'll probably have to wait till November/December to find a bottle. 2017's batch won't be released till then.

 

That's what the owner said. I'll save my pennies till then .

Might be better to move this to the bourbon tasting for next years event. Not in DFR 2016 lol. I'll gladly buy a shot or two of the really good stuff.
